Things I don't care for...

...the snake I found in the house when I came home from work today. He kindly left by himself, but left me in a bit of a tizzy.

Welcome Zsa Zsa

Zsa Zsa is the newest member of the family. She is a rescue dog and is becoming somewhat accustomed to the noise and active lifestyle of the family (nephews). She is incredibly sweet, a bit skittish and we are happy to have her.

"...and he's dancing like he's never danced before..."

Logan and Will are tearing up the dance floor. Don't miss out on Logan trying to snap. As you can see, these younguns' dancing styles are quite different. :)

Hand Washing

Last night I was at my mom's house and the nephews happened to be over. It came time for dinner and I offered to help wash up the boys. Will, almost three, came in the bathroom first, so I scooped him up on the stool in front of the sink and preceded to help him was his hands. Meanwhile, Logan, one and a half, comes in behind us and figures he can wash his hands in the toilet, which he reasons will do just as good a job. Needless to say, Logan's chubby hands were washed again. It was a cute experience and when I shared it with Matthew, his wise self related it to how we think we are helping God out. All we are actually doing is messing up and washing our hands in the toilet, yet God always scoops us up, and washes us off the proper way, in the sink.

Augusta Fish Fry

This was introduced to me as "redneck topsy-turvy" and whether it is or not, I'm sure it's more economical. :)

Jayme invited me up to Augusta to take part in her family's annual fish fry. Oh, my goodness!
The food was awesome and it was nice to meet some of her family and learn about gardening or rather farming. Thanks for the tour Denise! Thank you hostess and host!

Enjoying Atlanta

The Braves game, too bad they lost,
beautiful night lights during a rain shower,

a symbol that's known around the world

and a neat shot inside an old building from the 1930s. How many flights down this old staircase can you see? There are 16.

Oh, look how her garden grows...

In this photo, Susan and I had recently finished constructing the garden plot and planting all the seeds.
The first seedlings of squash are starting to appear!

I'm working on caging the tomatoes, as they were transplanted just recently, and they seem quite happy

The peas are working their way to the fence, so that they might grow better.

It's cool to eat dirt and...

(look closely)
...and fall asleep in the middle of the mall where your big sister can catch it and share with others. :)

Gown Shopping and the Gators

Now, how in the world does wedding dress shopping and the Gators relate? The above picture will show you. :) Yes, this is a horrible photo of me and no, this is not the wedding gown I chose. Go Gators! Oh, and hurray for our wedding date, October 10th! The Gators are playing LSU that day.
