More Snow!

These are out of order, but here comes civilization.

Hello? Is there anyone out there?

Where is the garden?

The local grocery store about half a mile from our house.

These footsteps were made before mine and I say that because I was the first one out this morning. It was a cool experience. Seeing everything untouched and quiet, as if I was the only one in existence other than the deer.

Garbage Can Chicken

Sounds trashy, but it's not...(say it in a sing songy voice)
The top of the bird appears to be well-done and it was, but the flavor was great.
Ooops! Accidentally tried to burn a hole through the deck. Thankfully, the report was dad laughed about the new decorative addition on the deck.

I'm Living in a White Christmas...

Weathering the storm.
Everything was so pretty and peaceful.
We made a little snowman. He is a sorry thing.

If you can't drive, you can atleast use your car as a glorified clothes dryer.

Merry Christmas!

Celebrating Matthew!

Santa joined us in celebrating Matthew's birthday,
we shared a competitive game of table football,

enjoyed scrumptous Russian Imperial Stout cake

and shared it all with great friends. We love Matthew! Happy Birthday!

Trick-Or-Treat

So, I'm surprised how many children didn't say 'thank you' when given a piece of candy. I'm giving you a nice piece of chocolate for free and not yelling at you for walking through the flower bed. Also, I decided to be friendly this year and not hide in the bushes with a chainsaw. Ok, so X out the chainsaw part. :) Something I did find encouraging was the large group of older kids that came to the door. They ALL had on great costumes AND said 'thank you'.

One Year

Happy One Year Anniversary to us! We went up to Chattanooga, TN for a couple of days. This photo is taken from the largest pedestrian bridge in the US, so I read. We had a great time, blessed with beautiful weather, enjoyed wonderful food and most of all each other's company.

Never a Dull Moment

We love them so much, we are willing to act like horses for their amusement. We had fun too!

A fun day at the pool.
So, my camera still works, the screen does not, so I have the fun of guessing what I'm actually catching in the photo. :)
