I was recently told that when someone gets down on their life, they think of our life and miraculously feel better. Umm...that is not cool in my book. Granted, they did say it directs them to pray for us as well, but I don't want my life to influence someone to feel better about their own. Do you know what I mean? It was said in a way of, "I am feeling down today about my position in life. Oh, wait! Thank goodness our life isn't like Sarah and Matt's. I feel better now." Am I making sense? I hope so.

You make perfect sense. I can understand why people do that, but I'm not one of them. If anything, it makes me a little more sad because someone I care about isn't happy and cheerful either (as we all wish to be). I hope you know that I think about you two often and wish for a more positive future (the happy and cheerful type). Also, when I get around to visiting (still planning sometime this fall), I have a big hug waiting for you.
