In the spirit of using everyday household items as cleaning products rather than buying the more expensive and harmful to fuzzy woodland creatures and the waterways products, try using baking soda and vinegar to clean the toilet.
1/4 cup baking soda
1 cup of vinegar
Pour each in to the commode separately, let sit for a few minutes then scrub. Simple, less harmful and cheap. I like it! Also, if you are easily entertained like I am, you will enjoy the volcano-like chemical reaction that takes place. :)
