Matt and I went on a new adventure today...visiting churches in hopes of finding one closer to home. This can be an anxiety inducing outing or even one that brings out cynicism and doubt. I must say though, I thoroughly enjoyed it! We located a church that meets in the Alpharetta Community Center, near the downtown area. It was a small gathering but Christ-centered and SO focused on serving the community, which I love. Having such a positive experience doesn't mean that we have found our new church home, but it does give us hope. With losing our son, Ethan, we have learned many things, one being how important it is to have community close to home so that we can all share our lives with each other.
